5. TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA

CONTRACT PROCESSORS
For the processing of personal data, we sometimes use contract processors. We have concluded a processing contract with all our processors in accordance with Art 28 (3) DSGVO. In addition, we have ensured that we only work with processors who have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures that ensure processing of data in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR and the protection of data subjects’ rights.

DATA TRANSMISSION
Depending on the occasion, the personal data of our customers may also be transferred to the following third parties who are not processors of us:

  • Financial authorities, social security institutions, courts, legal representatives, tax consultants, collection agencies, partners/suppliers
  • Payment service provider
  • Accounting service provider
  • Shipping service provider

The legal basis for the transfer of data is the performance of a contract pursuant to Art 6 (1) (b) DSGVO, the consent of the data subject pursuant to Art 6 (1) (a) DSGVO and our legitimate interest pursuant to Art 6 (1) (f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest lies in the above purpose.

Several tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries, which are not secure from a data protection perspective, are integrated on our website. There is therefore the possibility that your personal data may be transferred to these third countries and processed there. We would like to point out that no level of data protection comparable to that in the EU can be guaranteed in these countries. For example, U.S. companies are required to share personal data with security agencies. Those affected cannot take legal action against this. For this reason, we cannot rule out the possibility that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) may process, evaluate and permanently store your personal data, which may be located on US servers, for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.
