TO SUPPORT OUR STRONG GROWTH WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROJECT ENGINEER
We are looking for experienced Project Technicians (m/f/d) to support our teams in the business units Instrumentation and Vacuum Technology for the implementation of challenging projects. As a project technician, you will be responsible for developing complex requests, including the production strategy, prototype and pilot series production through to the transition to series production. You have completed technical training and have several years of experience – either in design, mechanical production (e.g. machining) or joining technology (TIG welding/high-vacuum brazing). Your main tasks
Tasks in the inquiry phase
- Customer contact for the technical preparation of complex requests
- Project development – feasibility study
- Development of the production strategy
- Identification of project risks
- Adaptation of tolerances, factory standards and quality standards
- Support with the creation of work plans
- Calculation support
Tasks during project implementation
- Support in the implementation of customer requirements in terms of quality and productivity
- Design and commissioning of devices, equipment
- Technical recommendation for the selection of suppliers
- Preparation Make or Buy decision
- Accompaniment, support and implementation of prototype production
- Preparation and support of pilot series production
Tasks in the final phase
- Development and support for handover to production
- Planning material flow and production process
- Finalization of work instructions
- Coordination with AV/planning/purchasing
- Post-calculation support
